Hospitality is in her blood.
Jill grew up roaming iconic hotels, getting into mischief like a modern day Eloise. During this era, often looked after by hotel staff, she’d learn the art of hospitality. Her father grew up doing the same — as his father, nicknamed “The Wedding Man,” was the maître d’ at the lauded Blackstone hotel on Michigan Avenue. In the 60s, Chicago Tribune profiled him for turning away then Senator JFK for trying to gate-crash a party.
Decades later and after getting her own events start in a hotel, she’s established herself as a triple threat; Event Producer, Cultural Programmer and Consulting Curator. At the start of 2024, Kaye founded Pretty, Pretty Good — a bespoke events studio where she volleys between roles seamlessly, considering micro details and personal touches with clients that make for interesting, cool results.
She is currently based in Chicago and available for short term, long term and travel projects.
